Biography

Born in Omaha and raised in rural Northeast Nebraska, Becca moved back for grad school in 2006. She has been around the CrossFit world since 2009 after a friend invited her to “try a workout that will change your life.” In 2013, After 4 years of CrossFitting with friends on their own she decided to finally join a box to feed her addiction and to challenge herself.

In 2015, while living in Scotland, Becca earned her Level 1 and began coaching using kilos and phrases like “press-ups” instead of “push-ups”. Becca competed in and won her first individual competition in Northern Ireland. Becca has a severe case of wanderlust and has done CrossFit across 4 continents. Her certifications include: CrossFit Level 2, CrossFit Weightlifting, USAW Sports Performance Coach

While not in the gym you can find Becca eating breakfast foods, with her dog Sir Wallace, outside, or contemplating her travel adventure.

I CROSSFIT BECAUSE: I can’t sit still and I get bored easily. I like proving to myself I can achieve something. It exposes my weaknesses and allows me to grow stronger physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The lessons learned in the gym can be applied throughout all of life.

I COACH BECAUSE: love being a part of people’s journeys to better themselves by helping bring the translation of the lessons and accomplishments in the gym into other areas of life. I like being the person on the side that challenges individuals and helps them realize the potential within. Its amazing how far you are willing to go when someone believes in you.
